Dr. Akanksha Saxena is a dynamic ENT surgeon, specialising in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Craniomaxillofacial and Lateral Skull base surgery. She has over 9 years of clinical experience from prestigious health institutes such as Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center, Bengaluru and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center, Rohini, Delhi to name a few.
She has a Global outlook and understanding in the field of ENT, having completed her AOCMF fellowship from Madrid, Spain and General Surgical rotation in SUNY, Brooklyn, New York. She has been awarded the best dissector during her Fellowship Diploma in Lateral Skull Base Surgery with World Skull Base 2019. She has won the prestigious Dr. Ashok Kumar Gold Medal Award and Dr. Sandra Nisha De Souza P.G. Award awarded by the AOI Kerala and AOICON respectively. She’s a prolific writer and has published and presented several papers in esteemed industry journals, publications and conferences. She likes to keep herself updated with the advancements in her area of expertise by attending conferences and surgical workshops.
She specialises in Micro Ear Surgeries, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Endoscopic Septoplasty, Vocal Cord Surgery, Thyroid Surgery, Parotid Surgery, Facial Plastic surgery, Paediatric airway management, Surgery for Sleep Apnoea and Microlaryngeal Surgery. She is an expert in Head & Neck pathology, Trauma and Jaw reconstruction surgeries.
Her interests include Lateral and Anterior Skull Base surgery, both open and endoscopic approaches & applications of remote access surgery and robotics in Head and Neck Surgery.
